Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on and process-driven Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations to oversee daily operations at the warehouse. The role requires managing end-to-end warehouse activities including inbound, inventory, outbound, manpower, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless execution, high service levels, and strict adherence to SOPs and compliance norms.
● Supervise and manage all daily warehouse operations: inward, GRN, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns
● Ensure inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and support periodic stock audits
● Monitor SLA adherence, productivity, and on-ground manpower performance
● Handle vendor coordination for transport, packaging, security, housekeeping, and maintenance services
● Ensure proper documentation and system entries for all warehouse transactions
● Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to optimize space, cost, and time
● Maintain compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and audit standards
● Coordinate with internal teams (client account managers, tech, procurement) for smooth operations
● Prepare daily/weekly operational MIS and share performance insights with reporting manager
● Graduate in any discipline (Supply Chain / Logistics preferred); PG/Certification is a plus
● Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse or 3PL operations
● Strong understanding of WMS, inventory control, and dispatch planning
● Experience in managing ground staff and coordinating with external vendors
● Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and operations reporting
● Excellent problem-solving, team-handling, and execution skills
● Willingness to work on-site at the warehouse and manage shift-based operations, if required
